Have you ever been burned out so badly that you have zero desire to do anything other than sit on the sofa wearing your pj’s and binge-watch the latest Netflix obsession? I sure have. It’s not a fun place to be and coming back from it can prove to be challenging. Don’t despair though! It can be done! But first, you should try to avoid getting burned out in the first place. Duh! 🙂
After a number of burnouts, I’ve learned a few things about avoiding it altogether. So, I put together this video, Quick Tips to Avoid Burnout, to share some things with you that have really helped me manage my stress on a daily basis, and in turn, have kept me from burning out altogether. Hooray!
In this video, I share the importance of honoring your body, ending your day on a high note and having a hobby. As simple as these concepts may sound, they truly have a massive impact on your overall mindset and wellness. Obviously, these aren’t super scientific concepts, however, they are small habitual changes that have proven to be immensely helpful for me personally. I mean, after you’ve gone to the dark side, you don’t want to revisit it again, amirite?!
If you’ve already hit the point of burnout, these tips can still be applied to help you come out of it. At the end of the day, it’s really about creating new habits that rewire the thought processes in your brain. Over time, small adjustments can bring about big change and that’s what we want to see happen.
